On Guaspari's problem about partially conservative sentences

چکیده
We investigate sentences which are simultaneously partially conservative over several theories. First, we generalize Bennet's results on this topic to the case of more than two In particular, for any finite family {Ti}i≤k consistent r.e. extensions Peano Arithmetic, give a necessary and sufficient condition existence Πn sentence is unprovable in Ti Σn-conservative all i≤k. Secondly, prove that such theories, there exists Σn Πn-conservative each these This constitutes positive solution particular Guaspari's problem. Finally, demonstrate non-implications among related properties families

Sets, Sentences, and Some Logics about Imperatives
Though deontic logic is regarded as the logic of normative reasoning, norms – as entities lacking truth values – are usually represented neither in its language nor its semantics. Limiting ourselves to unconditional imperatives, we propose a concept for their semantic representation and show that existing systems of monadic and dyadic deontic logic can be reconstructed accordingly.
متن کاملReasoning about Partially Observed Actions
Partially observed actions are observations of action executions in which we are uncertain about the identity of objects, agents, or locations involved in the actions (e.g., we know that actionmove(?o, ?x, ?y) occurred, but do not know ?o, ?y). Observed-Action Reasoning is the problem of reasoning about the world state after a sequence of partial observations of actions and states. In this pape...
متن کاملActive Learning for Dependency Parsing Using Partially Annotated Sentences
Current successful probabilistic parsers require large treebanks which are difficult, time consuming, and expensive to produce. Some parts of these data do not contain any useful information for training a parser. Active learning strategies allow to select the most informative samples for annotation. Most existing active learning strategies for parsing rely on selecting uncertain sentences for ...
متن کاملEffect of Relocation and Rotation on Radial Efficiency Scores for a Partially Negative Data Problem
Negative data handling has gained a remarkable importance in the literature of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to address many real life problems. Various erstwhile applications, in this arena, referred relocation of the origin to a superior (RDM) or to an inferior (Translated Input Oriented BCC) neighboring point. In this paper, the conditions for Rotation Invariance of various Data Envelop...
